Design Sprint process behind the
SiCepat App Revamp

The hardest part of any redesign isn’t the design itself — it’s convincing people that change is worth it. To make stakeholders believe, we needed more than opinions — we needed data.
That’s why we kicked off a Design Sprint.
Design sprint as a way to
Convince Stakeholders

Gathered the team in a
5-day design sprint
to uncover what’s really blocking users.
Day 1
Understand
Despite SiCepat’s rapid business growth, its mobile app experience fell behind.

Too many unclear entry points on the homepage
Confusing hierarchy between sender and receiver inputs
Redundant fields and deep-buried payment options
Order creation flow was too long. Stretched up to 9 steps
Each team member sketched potential solutions. From simplifying the order flow to decluttering the homepage, we explored how to make every tap feel faster.

Day 2
IDEATE
Day 3
decide

After mapping multiple user pain points and sketching various ideas, we moved to decide which ones truly mattered.
Through a prioritization matrix, we evaluated each idea based on impact and design effort — eliminating nice-to-haves and keeping only the solutions with the highest potential.

Day 4
prototype
Turned prioritized ideas into high-fidelity prototypes for the Stepper and Homepage relayout, ready for user testing.

Note : Design B Sender & Receiver is in the same screen
Note : Design A Sender & Receiver was separate
Day 5
test
The result spoke louder than opinions — clear, measurable proof that the SiCepat app revamp wasn’t just a design choice, but a business necessity.

“
In the end, great design isn’t about making things prettier —it’s about turning uncertainty into clarity, and opinions into proof.
Certain parts of the design flow & test result are not shown here to respect internal credentials and confidentiality.
